10 Bold Predictions For E3 2021
1. Elden Ring ISN'T Shown
Perhaps the single most anticipated game for E3 2021 is Elden Ring, the latest title from FromSoftware, who will be teaming with Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin for the action-RPG.
A low-quality trailer for the game leaked online earlier this year, and left fans begging publisher Bandai Namco to release a high-fidelity version for them to tirelessly pore over.
Fans are still waiting for a proper blow-out reveal, and given that Bandai Namco were recently confirmed to be appearing at E3, naturally many are crossing their fingers and toes that they'll finally drop the veil on the game.
But here's a bold prediction for you - Elden Ring actually ends up skipping E3 entirely, leaving throngs of fans positively infuriated.
Considering that the publisher didn't rush to release a high-quality trailer to combat the low-fi leak, they're clearly not in any hurry to lift the lid.
Furthermore, if development is taking longer than expected - apt given Martin's involvement - would it really be that shocking if the game was conspicuously absent from E3?
