6. Quantic Dream Reveals Their New Game

By the time E3 takes place, it will have been more than three years since the release of Quantic Dream's acclaimed Detroit: Become Human, meaning that we're basically due to see what the developer's next interactive cinematic drama game looks like.

After all, Detroit was itself announced in October 2015, two years after the release of Beyond: Two Souls, so if anything we're actually overdue a reveal.

Given that studio founder and director David Cage has heavily implied that he's deep in development on a new game, the timing just feels right for E3.

And even if Sony doesn't take part in E3 week whatsoever, Quantic Dream could very well show up at Microsoft's conference, following their summer 2019 announcement that all their future games will be multi-platform.
