The Nintendo Switch truly is a hardware marvel, capable of handling scaled-down versions of games nobody would've ever expected could be playable on the system.

And if this prediction is correct, Nintendo will once again prove the mind-boggling versatility of their handheld-console hybrid by announcing a port of FromSoftware's most recent masterwork, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Though Dark Souls Remastered was released for the Switch, its sequels haven't ever materialised, likely speaking to how challenging it is to translate these games to the hardware without compromising performance.

As such, it's not remotely likely Sekiro will ever end up on the Switch, but considering the idea of games like Doom and The Witcher 3 running on the console seemed ridiculous once upon a time, it's not a complete impossibility either.
