10 BONE-BREAKING Video Game Moves That Made You Wince

3. Falcon Punch - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Nintendo has some of the most iconic special moves in all of gaming. Mario's fireball. Link's spin attack. Donkey Kong's barrel throw. But because the Japanese company is family-friendly, the developers try to make these attacks look cartoony, not realistic.

Ironically, one of the most painful looking moves in all of gaming is from the Nintendo series, Super Smash Bros. If you play as the F-Zero racer, Captain Falcon, you can perform the Falcon Punch simply by pressing B. It's unlikely Cap will actually hit someone with this attack since he warns everyone by crying out "FALCON PUNCH!" as he slowly winds up his fist.

But if his punch does connect with an enemy, it is truly glorious. The impact is so forceful, it launches Cap's rival across the room or into the stratosphere. Even though it only deals approximately 25% damage and there are more powerful attacks in the game, the Falcon Punch looks the most painful and is the most satisfying to pull off.

It looks more excruciating if it's the final blow in Super Smash Bros: Ultimate as it makes the entire screen freeze before Cap's enemy is hurled to their doom.
