10 BONE-BREAKING Video Game Moves That Made You Wince

2. Zangief's Final Atomic Buster - Street Fighter (Series)

A piledriver is a wrestling move where a combatant flips their opponent upside-down before driving their head into the ground. For over a century, it's been considered one of the most devastating wrestling moves of all time.

However, "one of the most devastating wrestling moves of all time" wasn't good enough for Zangief; the musclebound Soviet from the Street Fighter franchise. Since he is deemed the greatest wrestler in all of Russia, Zangief had to devise a finishing move even more destructive than the piledriver.

He has performed dozens of iconic wrestling moves over the series but his most famous one is a variation of the piledriver called The Final Atomic Buster. For this move, Zangief grabs his opponent and pulls off a double Atomic Suplex. He then (somehow) leaps 10ft into the air before performing a spinning piledriver.

Although there are many versions of this attack, the most devastating one is in the tag-team crossover, Marvel vs Capcom. In this beat-em-up, you can select two players and call them simultaneously on your opponent to unleash double damage. If you choose two Zangiefs and perform both of their finishers at the same time, you will pull off a DOUBLE Final Atomic Buster.
