10 Brain Bending Video Game Puzzles That Will Drive You Insane
6. The Bridge
For a game that was inspired by the discipline of physics (the introduction involves tilting the world until an apple falls on to the head of our protagonist in a manner deliberately reminiscent of the famed inspiration for Newton's discovery of the force of gravity), The Bridge is frustratingly inconsistent with the principles that govern physics. Boulders kill you on contact, whether they plough into you, or are unmoving and you gently bump into them. Why? WHY?
What makes the Bridge so utterly mind-bending is the paucity of tools are your disposal. Tilt the world, that's all you can do. But some of the puzzles seem so complex that the crude tools given to you cannot possibly allow you to navigate to the exit. It feels like trying to perform open heart surgery with nothing but an HB pencil and a steak knife.
