6. Gears 5
2019 just can’t catch a break it seems, as the next game on our list is Gears 5. The newest addition to the Gears of War series delivered on many fronts, but making the game bigger than ever before might have hurt it as well. Gears 5 launched with some really bad problems, which was quite a shame. Especially for the hardcore fans that bought the Ultimate Edition so they could start playing a few days early.
The worst offender of all these hiccups, however, was a game-breaking bug that would halt players from progressing. Some were lucky enough not to encounter these problems, but they were very much there for some.
Fans who were dealt a bad hand sometimes had to start over two or three missions they had just played through. Luckily all of these problems are fixed now and players seem to be happy with the beautiful adventure Gears 5 delivered - but waiting a few months to play it certainly was the best option.
