10 Broken Video Games Finally Ready To Play
7. Days Gone
We can all agree that 2019 wasn’t the biggest year in terms of Sony exclusives. Sure, Death Stranding scratched an itch for some and Concrete Genie did okay, but the big open-world zombie game from Bend Studios seemed to miss the mark. This was due to the broken state it was in at launch, as Deacon’s adventure with the freakers was riddled with glitches, bugs and even some hard crashes.
The game was mostly broken due to bugs that took you out of the story in a major way. Sometimes zombies popped in really late, other times the audio was completely missing in cutscenes which made it very difficult to enjoy the tale Bend Studios is trying to tell. For some, the game even crashed every now and then, losing progress in the process.
However, after the initial release, the game received many patches that seemed to fix most of the problems. While there are still some structural issues in the overall gameplay loop, the game is a whole lot of fun, especially when you need to take on hordes of freakers.
The free content updates (including a Death Stranding motorcycle) added even more fun, as did some challenges that might entice you to add some more hours to the lengthy campaign.
