Role-playing as a Death Eater is obviously one of the most fun experiences for those who like to dabble in the Dark Arts, but it's also one of the most overpowered builds available in Hogwarts Legacy.

Death Eaters have the ability to completely demolish multiple enemies by applying the 'cursed' status throughout a showdown. In order to do this, players will need to learn the three unforgivable spells: Imperio, Crucio and Avada Kedavra, and use them as frequently as possible. Mastering these is a pretty end-game requirement, however there are few builds that can come close to matching a Death Eater when these are in your arsenal.

Prioritising the cooldown of these spells ensures unforgivable curses are available to use, though cheaper spells such as Expelliarmus can still be used as an alternative when waiting for a recharge.

Focus potions are also a great way of reducing cooldown between spells.

With each of the three curses dealing different types of damage, the opportunities to scale and cover all bases make this one of the most overpowered builds in the game.
