9 Craziest Pokémon Fan Theories

8. Wobbuffet's Body Is A Decoy

Basically the second generation's Slowpoke (or Magikarp) (or insert other useless Pokémon here), Wobbuffet was rarely anyone's first choice in battle. It was another one of those monsters you captured solely for a sense of completion, before dumping it at the bottom of your computer filing system. Ain't nobody got time for that stupid face, annoying voice, and pervasiveness. That said, one thing Wobbuffet has going for it is its amazing durability. That sucker can't deal a lot of damage, but it can certainly take it, like that one episode of The Simpsons where Homer became a boxer thanks to his thick skull. Only nobody comes to fly Wobbuffet away at the end of a fight. Why is it so strong? Well, one theory posits that the body with the stupid face is actually a decoy €“ the actual body is that flat, beaver-like tail behind it, which has markings that definitely resemble eyes. Doesn't make it any less useless, but definitely more interesting.
