4. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Okay, so we've reached it - the final chapter in Drake's story rivals any action-movie experience and character-wise, it's a worthy send off for one of PlayStation's most iconic characters.
U4 deepens the relationships we've come to love over the past-then nine years since Drake's Fortune first swung onto PlayStation 3, and introduces us to new ones that can stand strong alongside those of Nate, Sully and Elena.
The combat has been updated accordingly to incorporate the vertical nature of the arenas, with the new inclusion of the grappling hook and the ability to properly sneak and snap necks like a vengeful Spider-Man-obsessed judo instructor.
In terms of smaller details, the guns have been punched up with much more robust sound design, and Drake's subtle reactions to dialogue are excellently consistent with his character and mature with the story. His relationship with Sam is explored well and developed appropriately, even if it might arguably contradict 3's Drake-Sully dynamic.
After four years, A Thief's End wrapped up the Drake story in such a way that it's tough to judge how they could have actually ended it any better.
