10 Early PS4 Games Worth Playing In 2020
5. Infamous: Second Son
Sucker Punch swung fast and struck hard with superhuman precision with their newest full-length venture into a conduit-inhabited USA (sorry, First Light: you're cool, but you're glorified DLC at best).
Delsin Rowe is a far more charismatic lead than previous playable conduit Cole, and the colour-saturated city of Seattle is a marvelous playground to superhero around in. The new variety of smoke, neon and video abilities is a unique set of abilities to travel and fight with, and the updated navigation is still a treat to just mess around with six years later.
The plot of the game follows a logical path after the events of the second game, with America saying a firm "No" to conduits and their antics involving fiddling with electrical powers due to the aforementioned Cole MacGrath from the previous two. Rowe's predicament as a sibling to a law enforcement official leads to some of the series most interesting dialogue, also.
All that time, and original superpower properties in video games are rarer than a good DC film - and to this day, nothing actually does it better than Second Son.
