Furthermore while not only have they allowed people to unleash their inner Rock Demon from the depths of their meek exterior, they have managed to get more and more legitimacy for games by having massive artists such as Aerosmith, Green Day and even the Beatles give the designers their approval to use their songs in the games. It is this connection which makes it a great game to play with your girlfriend. Your girlfriend may not want to play Call of Duty, but sing along with Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs? That's a different matter.
