10 Essential Video Game DLC Packs
5. Bloodborne - The Old Hunters
Released near the end of 2015, just six months after the base game, The Old Hunters gave Bloodborne fans a new location to explore with new ferocious bosses to defeat and devastating weapons to put to good use. While the DLC didn’t do anything to shake up the original formula, it did give fans more of the atmospheric locations and challenging gameplay they had come to expect.
The Old Hunters added a sizable chunk of content to the main game and would likely take the average player anywhere between five to fifteen hours worth of content to enjoy, depending on how many times you die. Those distinguished few out there that understand the lore in ‘Soulsborne’ games will also be happy that there is a tonne of new lore to sink your Ludwig's Holy Blade into.
Featuring some of the hardest bosses in any ‘Soulsbourne’ title to date, The Old Hunters gave fans more of what they loved: hard as nails bosses to scratch that masochistic itch with some creepy lore sprinkled on top.
