3. Hogwarts Legacy
This long in development action RPG is definitely highly anticipated.
The game is being developed by bespoke Harry Potter studio Portkey games. Set in the late 1800s, Hogwarts Legacy will see players create and customize their own witch or wizard and enrol with their chosen house. Between attending classes and exploring the open world of the school grounds, the forbidden forest and Hogsmeade, this one is shaping up to be a magical experience.
Other confirmed features include taming mythical beasts and a morality system depending on your actions throughout the story. Trailers and screenshots have shown some series staple creatures such as trolls, acromantulas, dementors, dragons and perhaps most excitingly, rideable hippogriffs. Hogwarts legacy was originally supposed to release in 2021 but is now launching on a yet unrevealed date in 2022.
Expect further information soon, perhaps even at a rumored PlayStation event in February 2022.
