10 Extremely Rare Video Game Perks You Didn't Know Existed
8. Good Ol' Pebbles - Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Unless you want to spend hours walking across treacherous terrain filled with bandits and Cumans, horse riding is a must in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
A fast horse can significantly cut the time you need to spend travelling from place to place, so it makes sense to invest in the best steed you can get.
Now, most players would assume that getting the best horse means buying the most expensive one, but while its stats might appear great, it is actually your starting horse that is the best pick!
Despite starting off with the worst stats in the game, Pebbles, Henry’s beginner mount, can be secretly transformed into the fastest and greatest horse in the game thanks to its hidden unlockable perk.
To get the trait, you have to opt out of buying a new horse as soon as you can and instead continue riding on Pebbles for at least 35 km. Your loyalty to your steed will grant her the “Good Ol’ Pebbles” trait, significantly boosting her speed and bravery and turning her into the fastest creature in the game.
Now that’s a true “ride or die” friendship right there!
