10 Famous Gaming 'Heroes' You Didn't Realise Were Villains

3. Nathan Drake

Game: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Crime: Mass murder Nathan Drake is an almost irresistibly likeable character. Outgoing, witty and good-looking, Drake is the video game equivalent of Indiana Jones. Therefore, it seems like a bit of a contradiction for him to be a bloodthirsty, homicidal maniac. The argument could be made that just about everyone he kills is some sort of criminal or mercenary, rather than totally innocent bystanders. But, wait a minute, isn't Nathan Drake exactly that? A criminal? Sure, he might be generally pitted against more villainous law-breakers than himself, but he isn't really in the moral position to be passing judgement. Drake certainly isn't justified in gunning down thousands of them across his journeys. Despite this, he seems to have absolutely no qualms about murdering by the dozen.
