Perhaps unsurprisingly, considering how popular it was, Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64 was the subject of a large number of hoaxes and myths. The (at the time) massive open world was ripe for secrets, and gamers hunted high and low for hidden stuff. However, the biggest secret that was said to be hidden away in the game was the Triforce itself.

Rumours suggested it was possible to obtain the legendary artefact using a number of challenging methods, from placing blue flames in specific places, to playing un-written songs on your ocarina.

Sadly, despite all the hoax methods, it just isn't possible to obtain the Triforce. It may be an important part of just about every Zelda entry, but the rumours of a 'Sky Temple' and 'Overture of Sages' were all proven false.
