One of the few Xbox exclusives that outright laughs in the face of Sony, Forza does everything Turismo does and more.

Gran Turismo was once one of Sony’s most profitable franchises, acting as the console’s de facto racing game. Now it seems to generate little more than a mixed reaction. Gran Turismo sold itself on immense detail, but that only appeals to a very niche audience.

Meanwhile, Forza has not just the incredibly successful Motorsport series of games, but it now even has a more wacky and mainstream line with the Horizon games. Not only that, but there’s a new entry releasing in the franchise every year, which is incredible compared to how long we wait for a new Gran Turismo.

If you like extremely high detail, then Gran Turismo is likely your first pick, but Forza Motorsport now offers that as well, and arguably does it with more style.

It would certainly help if a new Gran Turismo game would actually come out...
