10 Fantastic Video Games You’ll Never Play Because They’re Too Hard

8. Call Of Duty/Battlefield Multiplayer

There's a good reason hardly anyone was excited for Battlefield: Hardline, and it stems from the one-note "80's cops!"-single player not having enough of a draw to carry the whole thing; instead it forever forces you to rely on the cutthroat world of online multiplayer to get your kicks. And boy does it kick like a mule, just not one you can ride for very long - or at all these days. See, both COD and Battlefield have become known for their online reputations; packed with screaming 12-year old racists spouting the worst, most vitriolic sputum they can conjure in all directions as they get their nightly sessions in, meaning anyone even trying to play a casual match gets sheared to ribbons. Sure there's matchmaking options and filters in place to parse out the elitists from those just wanting a quick game, FIFA/Madden-style, but as far as the reputation for these games goes in 2015? If it was any more set in stone, Moses would be carrying it down a hill.
