10 Fantastic Video Games You’ll Never Play Because They’re Too Hard

9. Hotline Miami 2 : Wrong Number

Another recent release, Hotline exists on the periphery of wider gaming recognition, forever the title people "really should check out", but thanks to being a top-down 2D romp through a variety of locales where you'll be bludgeoning people to death and jabbing restart constantly, it just hasn't endeared as wide as it should. In a weird twist, new release Wrong Number has gotten a hell of a lot of flak for simply cranking up the difficulty already present in part one, being the perfect sequel in terms of continuing where the first game left off, but forever being derided by newcomers and critics who aren't willing to devote the time necessary to learning its mechanics and levels. With the first game already being a divisive neon-soaked wonder-dream of gore and bullet holes, the second's focus on a spectacularly scattershot story alongside more weapon-filled levels and making sure you learn each area like the back of your hand has made it an even more obscure gem - one you owe it yourself to check out. Oh, and that soundtrack... MAN. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y3pspnwyoM
