10 Fantastically Original Video Games That Deserve Your Attention
7. P.T.
Although its content amounted to little more than an hour or so of an interactive playable teaser for the sadly now-cancelled Silent Hills, this oddball demo managed to be one of the most memorable experiences to come out of the PS4's first year on sale. With the help of its stunning graphics, P.T completely and utterly immerses you in its terrifying world, and honestly, and when it comes down to it, this free demo managed to be scarier than any of the full-priced horror games currently on the market. Its crazy to think that such a small experience where virtually all you do is walk around the same corridor over and over again could be so affecting, yet the simplicity of Kojimas horrifying nightmare packs so many surprises, so many moments of pure terror, and so many ways it devilishly plays with its limitations that it becomes absolutely exhilarating to play through that is, if you can stomach it.
