10 Forgotten Gaming Franchises That Must Return At E3 2015

1. Gears Of War

Let's end on something that's almost certain to appear - as although there's not been a sniff of the finished product outside the occasional tweet reaffirming its existence, new developer Black Tusk are till hard at work on the next Gears game, and have been for over a year now. Also, although Microsoft are yet to announce it, there's an HD remaster of the original trilogy planned alongside - something that provides quite the PR-punch to all those in attendance if it all comes out together. Going back over the exemplary games that established the franchise's status just as the newest one is set to drop makes for a lot of fanboy boxes ticked at once - leaving E3 as the place to kick it all off. With the dev team comprised of Gears co-creator Rod Fergusson and a host of programmers righting the occasionally repetitious wrongs of the past (like the severely off-feeling Judgment), a solid forward-thinking sequel could be something every fan - and the wider gaming demographic in general - would latch onto. Which beloved franchise do you want to return to E3 this year? Let us know in the comments!
