3. Resistance 2
Although not one of the masses that idolized Resistance: Fall of Man - an average shooter with a good story - I was still massively disappointed with this sequel. The core gameplay is still the same, which means that it offers little to nothing new except for multiplayer of course. The game lacks polish and character compared to the predecessor; one of the stand-out changes is the confined environments where the story feels very linear. Do this, go there, now, as opposed to a more open world, where exploring a little is both possible and rewarding - like in Fall of Man. The multiplayer proved that there is a reason to limit the number of players; 40 is way too many to keep up with unless you are a seasoned pro sniper. Luckily we can skip this mess and move on to Resistance 3, a game which offers everything that this one didn't. Leave it in the bin.
