3. Dead Rising 2’s Moose Head
The Dead Rising series revels in the strangeness and coolness of its weapons, but for the combination of effectiveness, comedy and unexpected awesomeness the Moose Head from Dead Rising 2 takes some beating. By jamming it onto his head, lead character Chuck can use its handsome rack of antlers to re-kill hordes the hordes of zombies who are giving him a hard time.
The Moose Head truly shines when the player can line it up with a girthy mass of the walking dead, and mash the button combo that causes Chuck to charge.
It’s tricky to do, but wonderfully, grotesquely worth it.
Zombies are gored into oblivion by the fury of Chuck’s assault, turning the player for a moment into a primal beast of fable, a force of nature as unstoppable as it is glorious to behold.
