Thimbleweed Park is a straight homage to classic adventure games like Maniac Mansion and The Secret of Monkey Island. It's a game about two detectives who come to the town of Thimbleweed Park to solve a murder but uncover a much bigger conspiracy. It's wonderfully quirky and compelling; like someone forced Double Fine to have a baby with Twin Peaks.

Thimbleweed Park released on PC and Xbox One in early 2017, before coming to all other platforms later in the year. As we've seen many times, what's old is new again, and such was the case with point-and-click adventure games. Terrible Toybox's outing was immediately eye-catching with its beautiful pixelated graphics, but it truly caught people's attention with its incredible humour, oddball characters, and macabre story.
