Clementine, or Clem for short, is the main protagonist of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Series and the moral compass of the franchise. Loveable, wilful and astonishingly intelligent for her age, she has since become an icon of the industry herself.

Since the episodic games' first release back in 2012, Clem has grown so much both figuratively and literally, but has remained true to her character all along. Widely considered as the moral compass of the series, she is a sweet, polite and caring girl. Growing up in a world overrun by zombies is bound to change a person's outlook, and Clem is no different. She may be more solitary and brash than when we first made contact with her, but she has never lost any of her charm.

Being particularly intuitive for her age, she can read people better than most adults, which is just part of what makes her such a fan favourite. The fact that despite all she has been through and still retains so much of what made us love her in the first place is astounding.

Clem is outspoken, she is courageous and adaptable. That could be down to her growth, her age, but the fact that she shines so bright above many other characters in the genre speaks volumes of the work Telltale put into creating such an exemplary personality.
