10 Greatest Ever Levels In Hitman Video Games
5. Traditions Of The Trade - Hitman: Contracts
A remake of the same level from the first game, the Contracts version received some very vigorous polish, and was spared of the less-than-stellar writing and cheesy dialogue.
There are countless rooms to break into and ledges to leap across from, and with the numerous amounts of policemen and weapon scanners, smuggling guns inside is by no means an easy task: will you dump the guns, use what ever is inside, or find a way to turn off the alarms?
While one target spends all of his time in his shower like a clean freak, another will be on the move. Franz Fuchs enjoys a rinse, so getting into his room is tough one.
One could leap across the boundaries and take out a guard, or even pose as the bellboy with only ten seconds of access granted. As for Fritz Fuchs, the man enjoys a bit of whiskey, as well as a dip in the pool followed by a steam. A window just above and to the side of the pool makes for an excellent vantage point as well.
The level features some of the Hitman series' most iconic kills, such as trapping Fuchs into the steam room and forcibly drowning him in the pool. With a wide array of ways to kill in a big, maze-like map, replayability stands strong on such a fantastic mission.
Oh, and there's a ghost you can find at a suicide scene. You can throttle it as well, for some reason. Because who needs the Ghostbusters, anyway?
