10 Greatest Ever Video Game DLC That Didn't Steal Your Money

3. Undead Nightmare - Red Dead Redemption

I maintain that Red Dead Redemption is the greatest game of the last console generation, because it took the tiring GTA formula to a new, ahem, frontier - offering us that Rockstar experience in a setting that no video game had quite got right up to that point. But something else that played a big part in making Redemption great was the Undead Nightmare DLC, which despite taking place in the same world, completely turned it inside out with an awesome B-movie horror plot. The base game was brilliant but pretty hard-hitting, so it was great to see John Marston return in a more comical role. Alongside the schlocky storyline, there were some awesome multiplayer game modes, as well as a host of supernatural elements thrown in like the Chupacabra, Sasquatch, and a unicorn... because why not? As well as the enjoyable story, you can take on Missing Persons missions, track down and break the Four Horses of the Apocalypse, and recapture towns for humanity by fending off waves of zombies. One of the greatest, silliest DLCs in existence.
