10 Greatest Heels In Video Game History

9. Albert Wesker - Resident Evil

There's something to be said for a video game villain who is a pure, juicy ham and isn't afraid to let you know it.

Resident Evil's Albert Wesker may have been killed off more than 15 years ago when Chris Redfield shot him with a rocket inside a volcano (!), but the man immediately cemented himself as an all-timer baddie in the very first game.

Near the end of the original Resident Evil, Wesker reveals that he's actually been a secret Umbrella agent the entire time and working against his own S.T.A.R.S. teammates.

The man is a cold, self-serving individualist, and beyond his undeniable intellect, harnesses superhuman abilities in the sequels, culminating in the hilariously evil plan to release the Uroboros virus worldwide and wipe out humanity in Resident Evil 5.

The slicked-back hair and ever-present sunglasses, worn in even the darkest environs imaginable, meanwhile provide the finishing touches to a villain whose presence continues to reverberate through the IP years after his demise.
