10 Hardest Legend Of Zelda Dungeons

2. City In The Sky (Zelda: Twilight Princess)

Twilight Princess gave Zelda fans a bad case of vertigo when it took them up to the heavens to tackle the City In The Sky.

One of the final levels in the game, this lofty dungeon had players travelling horizontally, sideways and every which way but loose across its vast, disorientating map via the Clawshot, and at no point was it fun.

There were spinning obstacles everywhere which players had to attach themselves to, but one false step often meant resetting an entire room and starting over.

The layout of the stage defied logic and physics and, to make matters worse, Link had to call upon his infernal iron boots again. The one saving grace is its magical item, the Double Clawshot, which is one of the coolest tools of the Zelda trade to date.

If you could navigate this mind-boggling level, the rest of the game was plain sailing.
