10 Hardest Video Game Achievements Of 2019

1. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Man Without Equal

red dead redemption 2
From Software

This is, without a single doubt, my favourite achievement from 2019.

Starting out, it’s scarily difficult, almost making me want to quit (and I’ve got the platinum in Bloodborne). However, it didn't knock my confidence because I was bad or even because the game was bad, I just didn’t fully get it.

Once you realise the game’s unique mechanic of posture damage is the secret ingredient to winning most fights, a whole world of samurai badassery opens up.

Man Without Equal requires you to kill every boss in Sekiro.

Every. Single. One.

The ones who drop prayer beads, every version of Headless, the main bosses, those weird monkeys and even both endgame bosses. That’s right, you won’t be getting this achievement in one playthrough. So your best bet is to go through the game, achieve every ending outside of Shura, kill every boss in the secret areas, wrap it up and do it all over again.

Luckily, on your second playthrough you’ll move through the game like the wind, but it’s fair to say that the journey to killing every boss is something very, very special.
