10 Highly-Anticipated Video Games FINALLY Releasing In 2021

8. God Of War: Ragnorok

Dead Island 2
Sony

Ok, I'm just going to level with you here. I personally do not think this game is ACTUALLY coming out in 2021, thanks to the team taking dates off trailers and being very shady about nailing down a true time frame for this year.

However, does that stop me from wishing with every bone in my being for it to be true that God Of War: Ragnorok releases in 2021?

Not in the slightest.

The PS4 reboot of the franchise was a much-needed kick up the arse for the series, and indeed a punch in the emotions for players who witnessed a crumbling Kratos learn to open up to his son in ways that were painful, profound, and deeply personal.

Seeing his adventures continue and possibly reach a fitting climax for the weary warrior in Ragnorok is something that the fanbase is so desperate for that it literally cannot come soon enough.

Yet if the team needs more time to make it the masterpiece we know it can be, I'd be happy to also put this as an entry on next year's version of this list.
