Spawn camping consists of exactly what it says; camping at the enemy's spawn-point, such that you're able to freely pick off the players as they respawn. Granted some games have sought to combat this, by allowing newly-spawned players temporary invulnerability, or staggering spawns over the space of the map, though the latter is only really successful if the map is large enough. This is a pretty cruel one, so it takes a cruel sense of humour to get a kick out of it, especially when it can almost "break the game" in a sense, if the enemies are left defenceless. Thankfully for their sake, spawn camping is mostly a thing of the past, as FPS games have become more complex and intuitive.
