Super Mario Movie Envision the scene. In Hollywood, movie executives, in between counting their money and gazing out at the amazing skyline, look up to see a mysterious gentlemen showing them what is known as a videogame on a TV screen. 'Hey!' says movie exec number one with the suspicious toupee. 'That guy can jump and stuff! I like the pretty colours!' 'So kids love this do they?' said movie exec number 2, stroking his handlebar mustache thoughtfully. 'Let's make a movie about it, but make sure it has absolutely nothing to with the source material!' 'OK then!' says movie exec number one, and the two high five. This scenario resulted in the absolutely catastrophic Super Mario Bros. movie, a film so bad even the guy who played Mario is embarrassed to have taken part in it. With absolutely nothing to do with the colourful games, filled with naff dialogue and genuinely just appalling, this may well be a shoe-in for worst film ever made, never made an embarrassing gaming memory.
