2. Lara Croft - Naked
What happens when you develop a female character and put her in little shorts and give her giant breasts? Everyone wants to see her naked of course! I apologise ladies, but us men are pigs. It's just the way of the world. The desire to see Ms Croft in the buff (even though she looked hardly like a woman at the time) was extremely high after Tomb Raider came out. It got so high that when Tomb Raider 2 finally came around there was rumours everywhere of a way to see Crofters in her birthday suit. It was of course nonsense, but this saga wasn't to end with people trying to put codes in when Lara was changing into a wetsuit. Nope, instead someone hacked the game, developed an Xploder cheat cartridge cheat that reskinned Lara and changed her clothes into flesh colour. The result was thoroughly unpleasant, and I still haven't quite got over those square nipples of doom.
