10 Hilariously One Sided Video Game Boss Battles
1. Pinwheel - Dark Souls
Bless Pinwheel and his little cotton socks.
At some point in development, FromSoftware had to look at all the bosses they were planning to drop on the player and must have said, "listen, one of you is going to have to be the duff one? Who's up for it?" and with a whispy finger, Pinwheel volunteered.
When you consider the game he's in, and the area you battle through to get to this boss, it only serves to highlight how utterly incompetent he is as a foe. I was tempted to put King Allant's true form here, but seriously Pinwheel is even more pathetic in my eyes because his failed attempts at attacking back seem even less effective than just cowering in a corner.
In the pantheon of Dark Souls boss battles, Pinwheel is propping up the wobbly table leg we rest our feet on.
