10 Horrific 2013 Gaming Glitches That Will Haunt Your Dreams

1. The Creepiest Alien Ever Made - Aliens: Colonial Marines

Remember when we were all hugely excited about the prospect of a proper Aliens game? It seems a long time, and a lot of passed water ago, especially since Colonial Marines took all of our lofty expectations (built on the lie of a good, high-performance game) and pushed them through a mangle. Colonial Marines was like getting a puppy for Christmas that you've always wanted, only to find that it has six legs and no eyes, won't bark, or chase its tail, and is an abominable variation on what you thought it was going to be. And worse, in the case of Colonial Marines, the breaks and unforgivable sins were committed in the name of a property with a fantastically bountiful property. The iconic status of the villains should have been enough to make an entertaining game, but the worst crime committed in Colonial Marines was the reduction of one of the most iconic villain creations in the history of every entertainment medium into the comical, idiotic mess you see above and the cowardly, cowardly custard below...
The haunting legacy of this particularly awful game was the implication that we might never see an Aliens game that could live up to the appeal of the films. Developers will probably shy away and fans will be too burnt to care, and that has to be counted as a monumental failure all round. Which other 2013 video game glitches are still keeping you awake?
