Pretty much an essential game for fans of Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead remake, Left 4 Dead 2 is perfect if you prefer fending off more classic hordes of zombies over Resident Evil's modern revisions. Although this game came out in 2009, it still goes for $19.99 on Steam due its undying popularity among undead shooter fans.

What made this game and the original popular was a dedication to allowing players to live out their own low budget, shoot-em-up fantasies of blowing away hundreds of zombies at once. It was perfect for playing with friends, who could each take control of one of the four characters, as you all attempted to navigate the game's episodes.
