Everyone's favorite red-shirted plumber returns in October, when Super Mario Odyssey releases for the Nintendo Switch. In the same vein as legendary titles such as Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy, the game will bring back intuitive puzzles and the creative platforming experience that made Mario a household name.
Mario will once again be forced to rescue Peach from Bowser, this time aided by his sentient cap which, as the trailer shows, can be used to possess everything from Koopas to tanks. Fortunately, the platformer seems to remain true to its beginnings, relying on clever obstacles and stylish worlds to offer a truly fantastic game.
