If two completely different games releasing on the same date wasn't odd enough, try three. Assassin's Creed releases its newest installment in the industry-shaping genre on the exact same day as Mario Odyssey and Wolfenstein II.

As the name implies, the game will finally reveal the true origins behind the legendary Assassins. Origins will blend the well-known game mechanics from the earlier titles with newer concepts, such as piloting an eagle to track enemies. Set in 60 BC, the game's quite a bit further in the past, allowing for more creative liberty than even the original Assassin's Creed.

Combat promises to be more intuitive and streamlined, and stealth players will be offered more advantages and strategies than ever. It has become apparent that the one-year gap between Origins and the rest of the series was necessary, and fans are hoping for a fantastic return to a famous series.
