10 Hotly-Anticipated Video Games Still To Come In 2017

1. Call Of Duty: WW2

Battlefield 1 may have captured audiences last year, but the Call of Duty franchise has struck back with their newest World War 2 installment. The campaign promises to be a heavy "brothers-in-arms" feel, where every character is unique and enjoyable, allowing players to care about their development.

Yet the multiplayer has always been where the series really shines, and this game looks to be a fresh take on the system. Rather than the traditional 'create a class' system gamers are used to, multiplayer instead offers factions to choose, such as the shot-gun wielding Expeditionary or the Anti-Tank Armored class. Each faction limits the choice of weaponry, but allows for aggressive team composition and cooperative gaming far different from the traditional games.

Of course, WW2 brings with it another saga of Call of Duty: Zombies, continuing the epic survival battle against the undead hoard. Though little has been released, the series has been rumored to bring back an adrenaline-fueled take, focusing heavier on the survival aspect rather than the "endless wave of gunfire" we're used to.

Call of Duty is last on the list, keeping the series' tradition of releasing in early November. Though little has been revealed about the game, the official site includes a secret code that rewards players with more intel, such as concept art and character bios, and will likely be expanded upon as the release date gets ever closer.

Release Date: 3 November
