A sequel fourteen years in the making, it's fair to say that Beyond Good and Evil 2 got a lot of fans pumped just from it's pre-rendered trailer alone. It only took a couple minutes of screen time to gamers excited, simply through its estranged visuals and premise alone. Apparently set to be a far more open-world affair than the original, we know nothing more than this base description of potential gameplay, though the game ended Ubisoft's E3 showing as though it would then be dissected in course.

Nope.

So far I've been able to glean a few aspects from the trailer and various interviews. A couple fan favourites are set to return, as well as a whole new level of exploration, with vast open worlds and multiple planets to explore.

This game definitely stirred the pond after being announced at E3 with a lot of people excited just with the small tease we got given. We can only hope that the idea still holds up fourteen years later.
