10 Hotly-Anticipated Xbox One Games Coming In 2016

7. Sea Of Thieves

Oh Rare, Where hast thou been since we last saw thee? Long gone are the creative years of Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie and even Viva PiƱata - nowadays, the younger generation of gamers have probably never even heard your name or stare blankly at any adult that says GoldenEye 64 is one of the best first-person shooters ever made. However, there's a very real chance that the studio is on the up-and-up after so many years of seemingly being left on the back-burners by parent company Microsoft. Despite the warm reception Sea Of Thieves's announcement received back in June, nobody's really sure what the game will actually be. Some outlets have labelled it a massively-multiplayer experience while others drop the 'massively' part and stick to a more narrow definition. Either way, we know that it'll feature combinations of both third and first-person gameplay, exploration and - presumably - ship combat. The reveal certainly looks promising, and the visuals scream Rare all over. Just imagine Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag but set in a world with other players who can team up to conquer the seven seas. Either way, the project sounds ambitious and unique, and if there's anyone that can pull it off, it's Rare.
