This is an odd choice because the campaign mode isn't actually all that memorable. If anything, you remember it because Natalya decided she had a death wish when you were supposed to be escorting her.

Irritating AI aside, the game is hailed as the grandfather of first-person shooters, and there's no way we'd have half the FPS titles littering the market these days without it.

GoldenEye's multiplayer mode was so perfect it might never be equalled. If you look at the intricate level design, the deliberately-placed one hit KO weapons and endless options to set your friends up for a fall... you start to see where Call of Duty: Black Ops got all its ideas from. Replay Highlight: It's a tie between the Golden Gun and the Moonraker Laser - both worthy of a mention.
