10 Iconic Video Game Franchises That Must Come To Current Gen Consoles

6. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter

Back from before even the original Star Wars: Battlefront came about, there was another gem from LucasArts.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter saw you strap on the jet pack of bounty hunting clone daddy Jango Fett, who had just recently made his big screen debut in 2002's Star Wars: Episode II Attack Of The Clones. Bounty Hunter was many things including creepy skeletal aliens and horror aspects, but also the optional bounty missions hidden in each level kept things fresh, requiring you to locate and scan targets before taking them in dead or alive.

Seeing as though the original game was from the prequel era of the Star Wars cannon, Boba Fett is the immediate character who springs to mind - he is the Star Wars bounty hunter, after all. Piloting the Slave-1 to different systems and carrying out missions for Jabba the Hut as well as other employers would be amazing, and each planets appearance would look eye-poppingly beautiful on the newer consoles.

There could also be an online element to the game, with a realtime leaderboard keeping track of who has bagged and tagged the most wanted criminals, and the cash you earn could be used to upgrade and buy new gear for your character and ship.

With DICE's take on Battlefront not quite living up to fan expectation, it's time fans of the Star Wars universe received an expertly crafted video game to indulge in, and I think Bounty Hunter could be the right choice.
