10 Images That Will Restore Your Faith In Upcoming Video Games

8. Crackdown 3

Why We're Worried: For starters, Crackdown 3 was clearly announced way too early back at E3 2014, and this year's E3 showed that the game has suffered through some visual downgrades, while also downplaying the role of the much-hyped cloud-driven destruction engine.

Simply, this sounds like a disappointment just waiting to happen.

Why This Image Rocks: Sumo Digital recently dropped this gorgeous image, which shows a significant visual uptick from recent trailers, with far smoother textures and an impressive draw distance.

Now, it's entirely possible that this is a "bullshot" or perhaps a screengrab from a rendered cut-scene, but it sure does look nice, providing at least a sliver of hope that the game may indeed be getting a visual punch-up in the months leading to its November release.
