10 Immensely Satisfying Video Game Moments

2. H-H-H-Headshot - Any FPS

For me; my first headshot came when playing Conflict: Desert Storm. The first level saw us hugging a sand valley wall and encountering a terrorist group at its widest point - we were outnumbered so an early strike was necessary and...

...Boom, headshot. Down in one.

From there onwards, all that mattered was firing the headshots in and the training was utterly brutal. By the time online first person shooter action was available; me and my friends were grizzly, hardened headshot veterans - and we never, ever missed (except when we did).

As if the feeling of nailing that headshot isn't enough; most FPS titles now offer you slow motion replays of your finest firefight antics - in play or at a later date, you can relive them all.

Even the irritating few who target the spawn points with their crosshairs squarely set on the head area can take a lot of satisfaction from taking their opponents down in one.

Goosebumps at the thought.
