7. Shenmue 3 Gets Revealed

With the first two Shenmue games barely breaking even on their enormous budgets, plans to continue this cult series had pretty much been dead for over a decade. After endless online petitions and the constant demands of fans across the globe, even the most die-hard of followers had given up all hope of ever seeing a revival of such a cult franchise. That was until E3 2015, anyway. Surprising everyone, Sony announced on their stage that the Shenmue franchise would be continuing, with fans literally standing up in ovation at the news.
