10 Impactful Moments That Made Gamers Cry (With Joy)
6. Final Fantasy VII's PS4 Remake
Another game that fans had been craving for years without the expectation they'd ever actually be lucky enough to get their hands on it, was a fully-fledged remake of Final Fantasy VII - announced at 2015's E3. Considered the best entry in the series by the majority of fans (and it's definitely the most iconic to any outsiders, with many of its signature scenes being aped or referenced over and over again in other media), gamers had been hoping to see a proper HD remake of their favourite game for years. However, with just about every other title in the world receiving a remaster instead, fans were pretty much giving up hope that their prayers would ever be answered. Thankfully, this year Square Enix finally announced that a real remake of the game would be coming, to the delight of just about anyone who had ever been a fan of the series over the past couple of decades.
